Fruit Logistica 2013: most exhibitors have seen a lower attendance

According to all exhibitors we met, visitors seemed less than last year, regular exhibitors at the trade show are talking on a trend between -5% and -15%

On Wednesday, the exhibition began, as every year, with relatively low flow which rapidly increased in intensity during the day.

Thursday, as usual, the busiest day, with many people in the aisles and booths.

Friday, is workday untill mid-day. As a sign of premature departure, the "dance of the suitcases", that is exhibitors and visitors dragged bags and luggage for the return trip, began from Thursday afternoon to accelerate throughout the day on Friday.

One cannot understand how it is possible for exhibitors to close their stand, during trade show hours.

This is certainly unprofessionnal and unfair for visitors who made a long trip to visit what is - with no doubt - the biggest trade show in fresh produce industry all over the world.
