French fries 100% French by year-end in all McDonald's restaurants in France.
The French subsidiary of McDonald's promises fries 100% "made ??in France" (currently 70%) in its 1,260 restaurants by the end of 2013. The company has signed an agreement with his supplier McCain for closer cooperation with French farmers (100 new contracts with producers and 4,000 more hectares).
Currently, about 70% of McDonald's French fries sold in the country is produced in France. The 30% comes mostly from Belgium.
As for the meat used, only 50% beef is of French origin. The brand specifies that the meat is "100% of European origin".
