Auchan finalises Rinascente acquisition

Auchan has purchased the remaining 50 percent of La Rinascente's food operations that it does not already own after the deal received the green light from the EU Commission's competition authorities. Auchan has purchased the 50 percent stake of joint venture partner IFIL for around EUR 1 billion.
