Early pest detection in greenhouse with Eva Scoutr robot
Eva Scoutr is Viscon’s Level 4 autonomous scouting robot that requires no fixed infrastructure to operate during 24 hours.
It was presented with great success at last Greentech Amsterdam. Designed for high-tech greenhouse environments, it combines robotics, AI-powered vision, geolocation, and real-time data to detect pests and diseases as small as 0.012 mm with pinpoint accuracy, up to ±10 cm.
Continuous monitoring
Eva Scout continuously monitors plant health across the entire greenhouse, even under Led lighting or nighttime conditions. Using real-time data and advanced algorithms, it scans every plant, detecting pests before visible damage occurs, identifying diseases and nutrient deficiencies before they can spread. This early and precise detection enables growers to take targeted action exactly where it’s needed, reducing chemical use, crop loss, and waste.
