Frozen foods maker McCain had to temporarily close a Chinese production facility recently after the local water supplier became polluted.
McCain's French fries factory in the city of Harbin was shut down after local water supplies became contaminated following an industrial accident that left the whole city without a fresh water supply for five days.
The factory reopened after the company carried out tests to ensure that the supply was safe.
