MACFRUT DIRECT - Sicilian basil DESIRÉ to conquer the North

For three years Desiré, agricultural cooperative in the province of Ragusa, has focused on the production of basil, niche product delicate to be treated, which in winter usually comes from other countries.

While continuing to produce other particular products - cherry tomatoes "datterini" and chili "friggitello" - the company, favoured by the climate and location, is carrying on more heavily the production of basil, in great demand abroad, especially in England and Switzerland, where many customers - who bought it in Israel, lamenting the absence of smell - now avail themselves with satisfaction of Desiré. 

Sicilian basil is unique, so much so that the Ligurian basil comes from Sicily, and Desiré in particular, with its 100,000 square meters of greenhouses, provides also Albenga, and several Italian and foreign platforms, which then repackage the product for large retailers. What can you say, indeed? There is all you need, the right mix of flavour, aroma, quality, certification (GlobalGAP) ... and freshness!
