From one week to the next, the tomatoes rose by +21.1%, eggplant by 18.7%, lettuce by 13.3%.
In China agricultural products show steadily rising prices.
According to official data, prices of vegetables and other agricultural products continue to rise in 36 major cities in China.
Thus, the wholesale price of 18 vegetables increased by 7% in the 38 weeks, compared to the previous week reported Xinhua agency. The price of tomatoes increased by 21.1% compared to the previous week, eggplant by 18.7% and lettuce by 13.3%.
