CAAB Italian center meets Turkish companies in Antalya

This delegation received by the Union of Exporters of Antalya, aimed to increase trade relations between the two countries in the sector of fruits and vegetables and visited the Halls of Antalya and production units of many exporting companies.

Italy is one of the largest markets for fruits and vegetables and within the project of forming an integrated logistics and trade corridor between Turkey and Italy. The visitors affirm that the need for fruits and vegetables of Italy out of season and in case of shortage could be filled by Turkey, rather than Spain or Morocco. On the other hand, Italy could play an intermediary role for European markets, while Turkey would play the same role in the Middle East and East, as Russia.
