Harvests and exports paralyzed by strikes

The dockers' strike paralyzes exports and stops the crops.
A strike by dock workers, which began in the port of Angamos, in northern Chile, has spread in most of the country's ports. More than 2,000 containers of fruit ready for shipping are waiting on the docks.
ASOEX, the association of exporters of Chilean fruit, and Fedefruta, the association of producers, give the alert on the situation. Exports are paralyzed and harvests are locked, endangering more than 100,000 people working in the sector. According to the two associations, the losses for the sector will be enormous.
