The Brazilians invited many foreign buyers and importers to attend the matches of the FIFA World Cup and to increase their purchases of Brazilian products.
IBRAF (Instituto Brasileiro de Frutas) and Apex-Brasil (Agência Brasileira de Promoção of Exportações e Investimentos) invited importers of fruits from 6 countries to attend the matches of the World Cup and better know the Brazilian potential (production site visits, packaging, processing, logistics).
These buyers come from USA, UK, Italy, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates. The Arab market is a priority of IBRAF, Brazilian exports have registered there a growth rate of +41% in volume and +54% in value for the year 2013.
This initiative "World Cup Buyer" follows a similar project that took place last year during the Confederations Cup and gave clear and convincing results and good prospects according IBRAF and Apex-Brasil.
