The minimum price is not met by Moroccan exports and could cause the collapse of European tomatoes.
Fepex has spoken against Moroccan exports of tomatoes and the non-payment of customs duties.
Since early November Morocco has increased its exports to Europe by 70% compared to the same period last year. The entry price in Europe is lower than the price
agreed by the two parties and the duties are not being paid, according Fepex.
Fepex has asked the European Commission firm for control of the entry price system, including the payment of customs duties.
