Bonduelle strengthens in Canada

Bonduelle has announced the acquisition of a factory in western Canada.

The factory, with a capacity of 15 000 tonnes of frozen vegetables, is located in Lethbridge ( Alberta ) just 50 miles from the American border. This will allow for significant savings in transport to provide the western United States stressed Christophe Bonduelle , CEO of the Group.

This acquisition, which is estimated at $ 6 million , is expected to close before November 1 .

This site will strengthen the Bonduelle Group in the Americas already consists of 10 factories : 7 factories in Canada (4 in Quebec , 3 in Ontario) and 3 in the United States.
