Tesco continues to expand its chain Fresh & Easy

The British group Tesco continued its extension of Fresh & Easy stores in the U.S. and especially California.

 In northern California, Tesco has just opened two stores and Fresh & Easy plans to open a dozen more in the coming weeks.

 Despite these new openings, Fresh & Easy should not refind the balance until FY 2012/13. Since entering the market in 2007, the chain had to close 13 stores in Nevada and Arizona due to the severity of crisis. There is now 166 stores across the country.

These new openings confirm the confidence of Tesco's U.S. in the Fresh & Easy chain which should return to growth quickly.
