13 new cases identified in recent weeks as the nightmare continues in New Zealand.
Kiwifruit Vine Health Inc. (KVH) indicates a first case in the Waikato region.
KVH reported 13 new cases of orchards affected by Psa-V in recent weeks, including the first case in the Waikato region, a kiwi orchard Hort16A
Gold. KVH has implemented a "controlled area" within 12 kilometers of the infected orchard.
There are now 1275 orchards affected by Psa-V in New Zeland, representing 6,617 hectares of kiwifruit.
