The amount of apples imported to Ukraine this summer is remarkably small
According to the latest figures, Ukraine has imported around 7 tons of apples during June-July period, these figures are considered to be the lowest ones within last 6 years. The main reason of decreasing volumes of imported apples is slowdown of local consumers’ demand for this kind of fruits. Moreover ukrainian market was overloaded with other local summer fruits: berries, apricots, peaches, during the above mentioned period. This factor has triggered falling of demand for imported apples.
