Peru's farming goods exports to Saudi Arabia reach $5.3 million until September

Recently, Peruvian Minister, Roberto Sanchez, commented on the trade relations between Peru and Saudi Arabia.
According to Sanchez, agriculture is the best-positioned sector in terms of trade with Saudi Arabia. This subsector contemplates 73% of total exports.
Sanchez stated: "Between 2017 and 2021, our exports to Saudi Arabia reached almost $50 million. At the end of the third quarter of 2022, they totaled $8.3 million, thus increasing 24.2% year-over-year.
From January to September 2022, Peruvian farming goods supplies to Saudi Arabia reached around $5.3 million. The grapes and blueberries led the ranking with incomes of $689,000 and $307,000, respectively.
Sanchez concluded that Peru's trade policy of international integration is positively impacting Peru’s economy.
