Rafael Olivo Cimas was appointed Supply Chain Manager at PRIM'LAND

Rafael Olivo Cimas has joined the management team of PRIM’LAND in charge of managing the supply chain of kiwifruit.
He will coordinate and help to optimize all stages of the supply chain namely the conditions of production, planning of harvesting on more than 850 acres of orchards, the passage of kiwifruit in 8 stations of the group, the purchases, inventory management and transportation.
Rafael Olivo Cimas, 49 years old, has already gained experience with professional kiwi in Spain and abroad. Graduate of Economics, he joined the family business Kiwis La Isla, Asturias, Spain, in 1984, to become the manager, in charge of supervising the the production, packaging and sale of kiwifruit. Particularly he developed and imposed Kiwis La Isla brand in the segment of high-end market in Spain. Rafael Olivo Cimas has also had professional responsibilities within the sector of kiwi as president of the International IKO conference in 2008.
For the 2013/2014 season,PRIM’LAND plans to market 17,000 tons of kiwifruit from which 40% in France, 20% in Europe and 40% in the major export.
