Live from Macfrut (Rimini): A 2019 edition under the banner of internationalization and innovation

This year 50 countries, with their own stands or in delagations, participate in Macfrut, thus confirming the internationalization of the show. At the opening, its president, Renzo Piraccini, pointed out that Macfrut has managed to double in a few years the number of its visitors and the number of its exhibitors.

 

 

 

MACFRUT also succeeds in bringing together the Fruits & Vegetables sector. It is estimated that the 2019 trade show is composed of 30% of Pre-Harvest companies, 35% of Fruit / Vegetables and 35% of Post-harvest companies.

 

 

 

Macfrut 2019 has set up 3 "dynamic" spaces to present innovations:

 

- Greenhouse Technology Village, a space dedicated to greenhouse horticultural innovation, houses technology, materials and technical equipment manufacturers, seed companies and specialized nurseries;

 

- AcquaCampus, a 640 m2 demonstration field dedicated to saving water for agricultural use and various related technologies

 

- Macfrut in the Field, a space that is a real test field to see the most innovative agricultural machinery in action.
