Excellent prospects for mango production

Significant production of mangoes expected in the Mexican state of Michoacan plans to export about 54 %.
The state of Michoacan in Mexico expects excellent crops of mangoes.
The flowering of mango orchards is complete and announces strong production for the next campaign . Campaign could begin in early February and then ramp up and reach a "peak" in the 1st week of March.
In 2015 the state of Michoacan is expected to produce 135,000 tonnes of which 73 000 tonnes are for export. In the region, in the 20,450 hectares of mangoes, 3500 are already certified Global GAP. Which 12,000 hectares will be added in 2015.
