The association celebrated its 25th anniversary with a speech by the French Minister of Agriculture on Sunday April 13, 2025 at its second Salon Accord Bio.
2025 is a landmark year for the organic sector in France, with the 40th anniversary of the official "AB" organic farming label. It is also a pivotal year for the leading independent organic retail network Accord Bio, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary. It now boasts 240 member stores and 145 suppliers. Most of them gathered on April 13 and 14 for the association's 25th general meeting and second "Accord Bio Salon", attended by 138 suppliers. Looking to the future, the association confirmed the official entry of 21 new members. They came to testify to their motivation for joining Accord Bio: independence in their management, support from the network, transparency in relations and the human values that the association collectively upholds.

The highlight of the event was the participation of French Minister of Agriculture Annie Genevard via video conference. With her attention focused on the CAP negotiations, she made a point of sending a sincere and committed message, hailing the crucial role of independent networks like Accord Bio in building sustainable food sovereignty and developing ethical, local organic distribution. It was a message that resonated strongly in the room, and one that encourages us to pursue our commitment in the field together.
"With over 240 stores, Accord Bio is now France's leading network of independent organic stores. A network committed to fairer, more sustainable, more local food".
