Major alliance in greenhouse production

With the objective to structure and develop greenhouse agriculture in the country.

Representing together 70% of all greenhouses in the Netherlands, five structures (BEST OF FOUR, DOOR, THE GREENERY, HARVEST HOUSE, VAN NATURE) signed an agreement to form Federatie VruchtgroenteOrganisaties (Dutch Federation of vegetables cultures).

The new Federation will be the preferred partner for the Dutch government and Rabobank, the leading bank for financing agriculture in the Netherlands. The targets are ambitious: restructuring and development of agriculture in greenhouses, sales structure improvements, and logistics.

In summary, consider all the issues for all stakeholders to seek solutions to problems. The greenhouse vegetable industry is not at its best. For some companies that make profits, numerous line losses. Major changes are needed. This new alliance is based on the sector's awareness: "United we stand, divided we fall".
