Citrus exports to Russia up 200%

Citrus fruits from the Valencia region have increased export by 12.6% to all destinations and 203.5% in Russia.

Excellent performance for citrus in the region of Valencia.

Citrus exports from the region of Valencia to Russia increased by 203.5%. For the season between 2009/2010 and that of 2011/2012, export volumes have increased from 21,475

tons to 65,194 tons.

Between 2009/2010 and 2011/2012 the total exports of citrus from the Valencia region grew by 12.6%. The total volume sold abroad amounted to 2.76 million tons.
