Tesco launches a giant war of prices

In order to regain lost market share for over 20 years,Tesco is launching the most aggressive campaign to reduce prices in the United Kingdom.
Tesco will spend £ 500 million (€ 570 million) in price discount that will go until 30% and on 3000 common foods such as milk and pasta, fruit and vegetables. The biggest discounts will be made on its own brand.
The distributor said that this initiative will not be a simple business transaction but a real price repositioning. This change in strategy is a response to soaring prices that hamper consumer spending.
