Strong US demand lifts Peru’s table grape exports in 2025

Higher volumes, firmer prices and strong demand in the US and Europe lifted Peru’s grape exports in 2025.
Peru exported 747.2 million kilos of fresh grapes in 2025, generating USD 2.16 billion, marking a 26% rise in volume and a 36% increase in value compared with 2024. The average export price climbed to USD 2.89 per kilo, up from USD 2.68 a year earlier, according to a recent report by Agrodata.
The United States remained Peru’s largest market, taking 389.4 million kilos valued at USD 1.12 billion, equal to 51.7% of total export revenue. The Netherlands followed with USD 280.1 million, while Mexico ranked third with USD 188.8 million. The UK, Spain and Canada each imported over USD 70 million worth of grapes.
Prices stayed firm across key markets. Exports to the US averaged USD 2.87 per kilo, while Mexico paid USD 2.90 and the UK USD 3.08. Asian destinations paid even higher prices, with Taiwan averaging USD 4.15 and South Korea USD 3.47 per kilo.
