Peru-Chile agreement for bilateral trade
FJ
Peru and Chile have signed a protocol to optimize phytosanitary measures in trade Peruvian avocado and Chilean apples.
The health authorities of two countries have signed the Protocol. Quarantine measures vis-à-vis the Peruvian avocados, and suspension measures, of imports of Chilean apples, are no longer valid. The two countries agree on specific phytosanitary measures.
This agreement will allow the resumption of exchanges for these fruits and could be the starting point for strengthening bilateral trade in a context of greater safety.
