Multiscan Technologies announces appointment of new CEO

Multiscan Technologies announced the appointment of Simon Van Olmen as the new CEO. After 22 years of management, Álvaro Soler will hand over his position to Van Olmen and will assume the position of chairman of the board of directors and advisor.

Simon Van Olmen is a co-founder of Multiscan Technologies and served as the company's technical director (CTO) from 1996 until 2018. In the last years, he was a special advisor and has always participated in the strategic decisions, contributing to Multiscan's development.

After a long career at the helm of the company, Álvaro Soler decided that it is the perfect time for “a younger co-founding partner” to take control of Multiscan. Soler commented that he is confident about Van Olmen’s leadership skills and experience in technology which will drive Multiscan’s endeavor towards constant innovation to offer the best solutions to their customers.

Simon Van Olmen said that Multiscan will continue to build on differentiation in their applications and on conquering new markets, thus developing its growth and expansion objectives. Internationalization and innovation will remain the key pillars of the company’s strategy, as well as sustainability and talent management.

The transition process has already begun. Álvaro Soler will continue helping the board of directors, the CEO and the management team of Multiscan.
