The first strawberries from Lot-et-Garonne will launch the campaign 2013 at the Salon de l'Agriculture
The first Label Rouge strawberries from Lot-et-Garonne will be at the Salon de l'Agriculture to launch the campaign 2013.
The department of Lot-et-Garonne is the leading producer of strawberries in France, with 11,500 tons produced in 2012, one quarter of national production.
The Charlotte variety (Label Rouge in 2011) has been added to the Gariguette and Ciflorette varieties (Label Rouge since 2009), increasing the period of availability on the market.
