Narpak: new projects

Narpak Citrus Packing Plastics Industry and Foreign Trade Inc., family business established in southern Turkey, at Mersin, has worked in the fruit and vegetables since 1997 with an annual production capacity of approximately 120,000 tons on 40,000 sq.m of cultivated area.

The company expanded its activities by planting 650 hectares in the Tigem-Reyhanli area for the production of peaches, nectarines, apples, plums, persimmons, avocados, pears, quinces, pomegranates and apricots for domestic and international markets. This year, the company starts an orchard of apples and nectarines of 250 hectares in the region of Nigde and it has a project of greenhouses heated with geothermal of 50 hectares for the production of tomatoes in the province of Afyon.
