Apples prices soar in Ukraine

Based on the recent data, at the current moment apples prices are 2 times higher comparing to the last season numbers in Ukraine. Apples costs continue climbing up every day. Local farmers are ready to ship off apples at 0,44 EURO/kg, price mainly depends on fruits size and quality. This kind of prices increase for apples could be traced to high demand for fruits within local market of Ukraine, as well as to high costs of apples imported from other countries, mainly from Poland. It stands to mention that at the current moment top priority apples are green ones, while demand for red apples has recently gone down in Ukraine.
