Exports to Russia will increase.

Movement in Russia is very profitable for Pakistani exporters. 

A delegation of 20 members of PFVA (Pakistan Fruit Vegetables Exporters Importers and Merchants ), the Association of Pakistani exporters, has just completed a trip to Russia . And met the authorities responsible for imports and sanitation . PFVA found that Russia wants to significantly increase its imports from Pakistan.

According to PFVA , the Russians are willing to give preferential treatment to Pakistani exporters to the extent that their companies meet the quarantine standards in force in Russia. To help these businesses a Memorandum of understanding will be signed soon between PFVA and the Department of the Russian quarantine. A Russian delegation will also travel to Pakistan to ensure proper compliance with its criteria.

PFVA believes that exports of fruits and vegetables have currently a total value of USD 150 million could reach USD 500 million in the coming years .
