Sweet cherries season has ended in Ukraine

According to the latest data, sweet cherries season has ended in Ukraine this week. During last week wholesale fruit companies complained on lack of berries. Trade companies were not able to purchase required amount of sweet cherries even after offering higher purchasing prices to the local fruits producers. At the end of previous week sweet cherries were available at 1,22 – 1,53 EURO/kg in very limited quantity. Low quality fruits were sold at 0,92 EURO/kg.
