Prevision of production decrease for peaches and nectarines

A negative trend will observed for the production for peaches and nectarines

The Working Group of peaches-nectarines sector of  The european Commission has met Brussels. The experts from major producing countries of the EU have revised downward forecasts for this season. The group believes that the production of nectarines will decrease by 4.6% and the production of peches by 7.9% compared to the 2012 campaigns.

In Italy, the production of nectarines will be down by 9% and that of peaches also by 9%.
