Apples from Moldova push Polish fruits from Russian market

According to the latest data, Moldavian fruits keep pushing polish apples from Russian market. During july 2013-january 2014 period Moldova has exported around 150 000 tons of apples to the domestic fruit market of Russia. This figure is 8% bigger comparing to the previous period numbers and is considered to be the record amount within last 5 years. At the same time, Poland 32% decreased export amounts of apples to Russia. Nevertheless both Moldova and Poland still remain the leading suppliers of apples to Russian fruit market.
