Weather and temperature were favourable, quality is good and large volumes are predicted. The harvest period is now longer and extends from July to September.
Beans (Phaseolus vulgaris) of the legume family are harvested to be sold fresh or dried. Brought from Central America by the Spanish and Portuguese explorers, the beans are grown in Veneto since the sixteenth century.
