Peruvian fresh asparagus exports fall

Between January and September 2022, Peru exported 83,241,301 kilos of fresh asparagus worth $241,187,567, reports Agrodata Peru. (photo: comexperu.org.pe)
From January to September 2022, the United States received 63% of the total exports of Peruvian asparagus.
The main country of destination for this vegetable continues to be the United States (63% of the total). The other recipient countries are the Netherlands (11%), the United Kingdom (9%), Spain (9%), Belgium (2%), among others.
