The watermelon season started

In the Mersin region, in the south of Turkey, the watermelon season has started.

The Akan society started Citrus harvests of watermelons. Producer and exporter of fruits and vegetables, Akan Citrus has recently launched its new website. This site allows to all its customers to track the orders, the production and the packaging as well as take knowledge of all relevant information.

Akan Citrus produces and markets a wide range of products (citrus fruits, apricots, plums, figs, watermelons ...) and exports to the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Solvenia in Croatia, Hungary, Greece, Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Russia.

In the summer of 2013 Akan Citrus expects to open a new unit which will cover 8500 m2. Cold rooms predict to have a capacity of 2000 tons.
