Medium campaign for citrus fruits but small fruits continue to progress

Small fruits continue to progress while oranges are declining in exports.
Medium balance sheet for the citrus fruits producers association of Morocco (Aspam): only 480.000 tons were exported instead of 530.000 planned, but small fruits realized performances.
Exports reach 480.000 tons this year that is a decline of about 30 %. The 2008/2009 season was already considered pretty poor with 478.000 tons.
Exports of oranges decrease of 16 %.
On the other side, exports of small fruits improved, Morocco sent this year 322.330 tons against 293.500 the past season. Clementine with more than 204.000 tons increased of 13 %.
