Asoex thanks the whole world of the brought supports and announces the return to normal of all the sector.
Ten days after the violent earthquake, the Chilean producers and exporters of fruit and vegetables announce the return of the activity for the entire sector.
The road traffic started again, the damages in bridges and structures are small and do not prevent the traffic on the main access roads.
The port of Coquimbo is completely operational. The Valparaíso port works normally, with a 95 % capacity, a single quay has been damaged, N°4, which is already used. Three of the quays of San Antonio port work normally. The activity can now started again.
Ronald Bown, president of council of Chilean exporters Association (ASOEX) said: "during this period, we had an important support of our colleagues of the business of the whole world, and we are very grateful for it. Our message today is that our industry is in working order and returns to the total normality in the next days. "
