Chilean fruit exports to Asia in the 2022/23 campaign amount to 535,627 tons, according to data from the end of February presented by the Association of Fruit Exporters of Chile AG (ASOEX).

China is positioned as the largest recipient with a participation of 91%. The remaining volume is distributed between Japan, South Korea and Taiwan.

Regarding the type of fruit, cherries lead exports with 71% of the total shipped. In second place are plums (13%), nectarines (7%), table grapes (4%), and blueberries (2%).
