Prices for fruits and vegetables have started to go down in Ukraine

Prices for fruits and vegetables have gone down to 6 % within domestic market of Ukraine during 2d week of January 2014. The main reason of prices decreasing is low demand among local consumers. Starting from January 2014 fruits-vegetables basket value has come down to 12% in Ukraine. Mainly prices decrease has affected greenhouse vegetables, costs for this kind of products has gone down to 30%. According to the local specialists,  prices decreasing is predictable for this period of time and occurs every year.
