Poland is recognized as #10 country-consumer of Turkish fruits and vegetables
According to the latest data Poland occupies the 10th place in rating of countries-consumers of fruits and vegetables imported from Turkey. The total cost amount of products purchased by Poland, is reported to comprise around 32 mln dollarsyear. This month delegation of Turkish fruits and vegetables producers plans to go to Poland in order to study domestic market of the country and establish business contacts on the spot. During official visit number of meetings are planned to be attended and certain issues are intended to be discussed, such as customs procedures, trade volumes etc. This step is very important for both sides, first of all because Poland, being itself one of big fruit and vegetables suppliers in Europe, also imports great amount of tomatoes and citrus from Turkey.
