SANA exhibition registered a record growth of 20%

SANA 2013 registers a record number of visitors, new evidence that organic products are the only dynamics in a crisis situation.

The trend for organic products is confirmed with good figures recorded by SANA exhibition.

The 25th edition of SANA International Exhibition of organic and natural products, has registered a record growth of its visitors. The exhibition received 32,400 visitors, Italian and international, representing an increase of +20% compared to 2012.

SANA confirms its position of the first platform for organic products. Position which will be strengthened with the purchase announced by BolognaFiere of 2 new events (NUCE and FOOD-ING) which will join SANA in the future.

The experts of SINAB (Servizio Nazionale of Informazione sull'Agricoltura Biologica) recalled that at the end of 2011 there were nearly 50,000 professionals who worked in Italy in the biological. The country counts 1.096 million hectares cultivated organically, which classifies Italy as the second largest organic producer in Europe.
