Live from PMA Fresh Summit: the king of the melon available all year long

The Brazilian grower ITAUEIRA is presenting his offer for melons and watermelons for the 11th year at PMA. The company forecasts a production of 90.000 tons this season with yellow honey melon, piel de sapo, galia and mini watermelons. 

 

As Mrs Adriana Ribeiro do Prado stated: " We are the only grower in Brazil with our own production and year long avaibility."

 

New this year, a QR code has been placed on the melon. This offers the consumers to get full traceability on the product. Where it has been grown, when it has been harvested, how it was shipped... Recipes are also available with videos.

 

The company is focusing on quality. The melons with the brand " Rey" - which means King- are presented indidually with a net to be recognised as a premium fruit. 

 

Itaueira is present at PMA and will also be at Fruit Attraction, Spain stand pavilion 10 D 04
