Spanish company to launch a new range of biostimulants based on microorganisms

Daymsa is a Spain-based expert in plant nutrients, biostimulants and phytoprotectors with clients in over 40 countries around the world. This time, Fructidor had the opportunity to interview Enrique Iñigo, commercial manager of Daymsa, and clarified what role biostimulants play in agriculture and what benefits they provide to producers.

Fructidor (F): Within the range of Daymsa products, what is your star product? Which crops is it used for?

Enrique Iñigo (E.I): Among the different products offered by Daymsa, we highlight the range marketed under the NATURAMIN brand, a range that has become very important in recent years. NATURAMIN stands out for its biostimulant effect against stress situations for extensive crops that have been affected by prolonged droughts in many regions of Europe and America, such as wheat, barley, rapeseed, corn, soybean, sunflower…

F: What makes Daymsa stand out from its competitors?

E.I: One of our main objectives is to try to offer a set of solutions for the producer of fruit, vegetables, cereals, etc. From Daymsa we advocate technical advice according to the particular conditions of each region and the guarantee of having modern manufacturing facilities behind it that guarantee quality and homogeneity in each manufacturing batch.

F: What are your main target markets?

E.I: Our main markets are centered on Central and South America, since they are well-established markets with the presence of several subsidiary companies, as well as Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean area.

F: What are your goals for this year, would you highlight the incorporation of a new product?

E.I: Among the actions that we will carry out this year, a new launch of a whole new range of biostimulants based on microorganisms is planned. It will be a new line of business that we have been working on for years but that is about to move to a commercial phase in a short time.

E.I: Yes, within the different actions that we carry out, one of them is attending fairs and events. We consider that it is something fundamental so that the sector can know our products. In this sense, we will be present at FRUIT LOGISTICA in Berlin and FRUIT ATTRACTION in Madrid, unavoidable events that continue to have strong participation.
