Exports of Chilean mandarins from the Port of Valparaíso began this week, reports the Chilean Citrus Committee-ASOEX.
There were 398 tons of mandarins destined for the United States market, which is 49% higher than on the same date in 2021.
The variety is W. Murcott, produced in the Coquimbo Region. In weeks 28 and 29, harvests are expected to start from the Valparaíso Region to the south.
