AOP Piemonte, the new consortium

 

 AOP Piemonte includes 3 organizations: Asprofrut based in Lagnasco, Ortofruit in Saluzzo, Asprocor in Cissone.

 

 

 

 The President is Domenico Sacchetto, also president of the OP Asprofrut, the vice-presidents are Paschetta Domenico, a president of Ortofruit and Giuseppe Andreis, president of Asprocor.

 

 

 

THE AOP Piemonte is going to assure a bigger representation of the region’s producers for concerted actions of promotion. THE AOP will allow to realize savings by sharing services and logistics and to compete with the international competition.

 

 

 

 THE AOP Piemonte becomes the 1st organization in the sector of fruit and vegetables in Piedmont. She will be based in Lagnasco, and will market a vast range (peaches, nectarines, apples, kiwifruits, pears, apricots, strawberries, small fruits and walnut). Its turnover will reach 140 000 000 €.
