Polish apples take the lead within Russian market

Based on the wholesale companies’ data, polish apples go ahead of Moldavian fruits within local market of Russia. Local apples traders confirm that Moldavian apples are not considered to provide competitive advantage over polish apples even considering quite low prices. High quality of polish apples is strong argument in favour of polish fruits (base and middle price segment). At the current moment Moldavian apples costs comprise approximately 0,02 USDkg, while prices for Polish apples rally up to 0,83 USDkg. Though quality of apples imported from Poland is significantly higher comparing to the Moldavian ones.
