Trends in Asian market?
For Jingold, Asia is the 2nd market in terms of sales, after Europe.
As Mr. Patrizio Neri, President of Jingold states:
“We are selling Jingold brand in China since opening of phytosanitory barriers in 2012, with constant increase of volume of sales.
For Italian exporters, the market is a new market with huge potential of development. We focus now to have a better penetration, inside mainland China, thanks to our local team and agreements with regional importers/ distributors.”
New kiwi’s varieties
Jingold is always investing in kiwi research & development. New varieties are in development:
The Green Bliss variety is already available, and the Red-flesh variety will arrive on the market in 2018.

“Our strategy is to create a category of kiwis to satisfy all customers‘ needs. We have selected different varieties with breeding institutes to offer different flavors. The Red-flesh kiwi has a very different flavor. The red segment brings red fruits flavors which are very appreciated in Asia...
Asian consumers want to try new product. Thanks to our frequent exchanges of experience with growers worldwide, we can ameliorate our products. For instance, Growers’ experience in Chile helps us in Italy, and so on. Jingold is continuously bringing innovation on the market and our customers love that.”
