New development for JVS targeting new markets

JVS is the acronym for Japan Vegetable Seeds. Organization which has just welcomed 2 new companies.
In Japan, 2 new breeding specialists, Matsui Seed Co. Ltd and Nanto Seed Co. Ltd, have joined JVS Japan Vegetable Seeds, the joint venture created in 2017 by Nippon Norin Seed Co. Ltd, Kurume Vegetable Breeding Co Ltd and Mitsui & Co. Ltd.
Nanto Seed Co. Ltd, a family business founded in 1947, specializes in the variety selection of melon, watermelon, squash, onion and cucurbit rootstocks. She has patented new techniques for selecting and improving hybrid seeds and has developed technologies and biotechnologies to develop products by anticipating customer needs.
Matsui Seed Co. Ltd, a family business founded in 1952, grows many exceptional varieties of melons and watermelons, winners of various national awards.

Mitsui & Co. Ltd is a Japanese multinational operating on a global scale. It has 16 commercial units, one of which is dedicated to the food industry, which is developing, among other things, new hybrids and new seeds through JVS.
JVS is the acronym for Japan Vegetable Seeds. A constantly growing organization, JVS includes Top Seeds International, Nippon Norin Seed, Kurume Vegetable Breeding Co. Ltd and, now Matsui and Nanto.
