New leadership at Copa Cogeca

Cogeca, the Confederation of Agricultural Cooperatives in Europe, has elected a new team at its helm.
Christian Pèes (France) has been unanimously elected as President with new Vice Presidents, Thomas Magnusson (Sweden), and Maria Antonia Figueiredo (Portugal)
Christian Pèes is at the head of a grain and pig farm in the South West of France and is also President of Euralis cooperative for grain for France.
Thomas Magnusson is the first Vice-President of the LRF, Federation of Swedish Farmers. He manages a farm dedicated to the production
of beef and milk as well as forestry.
Antonia Maria Figueiredo is CONFAGRI Deputy Secretary General, Confederation of Agricultural Cooperatives in Portugal. He is an agronomist and also a producer of olive oil.
Peter Vrisk remains first Vice-President of Cogeca. Since 1996 he has been Chairman of the Cooperative Union of Slovenia, and manages a farm dedicated to the production of cereals, vegetables and cattle. Baamonde Eduardo is also Vice-President of the Cogeca. He is Managing Director of Cooperativas Agroalimentarias.
